Nancy Patricia Pelosi is an American politician serving as the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives since January 2019, and previously from 2007 to 2011. She is a member of the Democratic Party and has represented California's 12th congressional district in the House of Representatives since 1987, making her one of the longest-serving members of Congress. Pelosi is the first woman to hold the office of Speaker, a role in which she has played a significant part in shaping legislative priorities and party strategy.
We need generational change, but, in some cases, there's no substitute for experience.
