the Democratic plan does just that. This Republican bill, I repeat, is not guaranteed. It is not affordable. It is not a defined prescription drug benefit under Medicare that our seniors want and deserve. The Republican plan is a plan to end Medicare. I urge my colleagues to reject this raw deal for America's seniors and vote no on the Republican bill and yes on the very excellent Democratic proposal.
