I cannot underscore strongly enough that the Innovation Campuses must have solutions for the disposal of spent nuclear fuel if we are to be successful in this endeavor.

The hard part is still ahead of us.

Today’s announcement of potential sites for Nuclear Lifecycle Innovation Campuses has been years in the making.

Our bipartisan Fertility Cost Relief Act would allow individuals to take money from their retirement accounts to build a family without a financial penalty.

The high cost of IVF treatment makes it difficult for thousands of Americans to start or grow their families. Family planning and fertility treatments are too costly and out of reach for too many Americans.

We need a substantial increase in research funding to determine the appropriate care and resources for our troops and veterans, and I will continue to fight for that on the House Appropriations Committee.

The uptick in reported TBI cases among veterans underlines the urgency to increase funding for the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program to study servicemembers’ and veterans’ brain injuries.

Hamas must be disarmed so a viable path to peace exists.

None of this is easy. It demands a more principled, inclusive, and constructive kind of American leadership than the one we have now.

Gaza must be rebuilt, and aid to its residents must flow unimpeded. Palestinians deserve to live free from bombardment, displacement, and blockade.

The violence settlers are inflicting on Palestinian families in the West Bank is abhorrent. It must end.

I firmly believe in a future where Israelis and Palestinians live side by side in peace, security, and self-determination.
