Unfortunately, the infrastructure package often discussed under the previous administration seemed to be more about scoring political points and less about actually creating jobs for our constituents.

I have been fighting for the passage of a comprehensive clean energy and clean transportation tax package that will put our country on a path to a sustainable future.

I applaud the Administration's desire to achieve 100 percent carbon pollution-free power on our grid by 2035, and, certainly, our public lands should be part of that solution.

I think you know that preventing new offshore oil and gas leasing in my state of California is extremely important to me and to the constituents that I represent.
