I am a huge fan as a private sector person of this program, because as Congressman Honda said, most of the institutes are funded with some taxpayer dollars.

But if they insist on hanging onto their policy and they will not honor detainers, and they will not share information, you know, don't ask for federal money unless you follow our Federal law.

Our national labs are really an amazing resource to this country, both in the facilities that they house and in the quality of the scientific talent that they attract.

It really depends on us. It depends on you as our leaders and policy makers, and it depends on us as the technical people.
