Put a clean CR on the floor so that we can vote for all of government to be protected. Don't pit children against veterans, et cetera. I will not be bullied into supporting this measure. I urge my colleagues to stand with me. Despite my love for this program, I must vote against this measure. I ask my colleagues to stand up to these Republican tricks and vote ``no.''
