I have always believed that new challenges create new opportunities. Working together, I am convinced that we can increase U.S. exports and create new U.S. jobs in the process.
A lot of U.S. companies that are operating abroad, some of them don't want to repatriate their profits because of the corporate tax code.
The American people, the sentiment that they just don't get it and you spoke a little bit about in your verbal testimony.
We have the highest corporate tax rate in the world. We have the regulatory burdens. Infrastructure is in disrepair.
It is our plan to work with you and Secretary Locke... to move our country forward and really make 'Made in America' matter again.
