When is the majority going to try to solve a real problem? The reaction to unemployment is ``so be it.'' The reaction to an immoral Afghanistan policy is a big shrug. I guess they figure if they can't catch bin Laden, they might as well go after ``A Prairie Home Companion.'' Public broadcasting, Mr. Speaker, performs a vital function in a democracy.
