I thank the gentleman. Madam Speaker, for the last 18 years as a Member of this body I have listened to Republicans go on and on about keeping government out of the health care system. That and taking away the voice of women actually puts the government between that woman and her most private health care decisions and is the biggest, the most intrusive government of all. I thought my Republican friends hated taxes, but apparently they hate reproductive freedom and women's rights even more, because this bill would raise taxes on small businesses that provide their employees with health plans that include abortion coverage. And in one of its most egregious provisions, this bill could lead to IRS audits of women who seek abortion care after they have had a sexual assault. Absolutely unconscionable. Vote ``no'' on H.R. 3.
