I would like to note the passing of Cindy Marano. Ms. Marano was a founder of the National Displaced Homemakers Network, now known as Women Work! For 12 years, Cindy was executive director of Wider Opportunities for Women, which we call WOW. Her work to improve opportunities for women, including displaced homemakers, who are specifically helped by this bill, was invaluable, and we will miss her. We will miss her vision and we will miss her leadership greatly.
