It is time for the Federal government and the VA to keep pace with what the American public wants.

I think it is important that the law is clear.

We owe our veterans a tremendous amount, the least we can do is make sure we are giving them their proper treatment for those invisible wounds that they brought back from the battlefield.

As twenty veterans tragically die from suicide each day, we, as policymakers, should consider alternatives to the treatment of PTSD and chronic pain.

92 percent of those veteran's support research and the cannabis treatment of veterans and their invisible wounds.

Can we use cannabis? Can the VA prescribe cannabis for us? Can we talk to our doctor at the VA about cannabis without losing our VA benefits?

Veterans should not be forced outside the VA system to seek a treatment that is legal in their state.

If so, this budget proposal confirms that the President's priorities are sorely misguided and, in fact, dangerous.

This budget places funding for a border wall above all else.

I am extremely concerned that you have not yet decided whether to enter into a new collective bargaining agreement.

Let me be clear: The TSA would struggle to operate under these cuts, and the American people would be left vulnerable to attacks.

Because everybody that comes to America works hard to enrich this country, to make us strong, deserves to be an American someday.

I want to make sure that when there is any crisis around the world, whether political or otherwise, people can rely on America to feed the rest of the world.

I think everybody that works hard and obeys the laws and pays the taxes deserves a pathway to citizenship.
