I urge Congress to act on these priorities and I look forward to working with Members on both sides of the aisle to address these challenges.

I respectfully ask this committee to continue to support them with the resources and authorities they need.

I am on record in multiple venues talking about the fact that to address this crisis effectively we are going to need to increase security, governance, and address the push factors in Central America.

We should be addressing those asylum claims at the border.
