We talk about Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and her great leadership for the things that all human beings on this planet ought to be accorded, basic human dignity and basic rights as opposed to the rights of their governments. Yet, in Burma, it is not just the National League for Democracy or Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, it is all the people of Burma who suffer at the hands of this terrible military dictatorship. There are no rights in Burma. There are no rights to speak freely. There are no rights to worship freely. There are no rights to assemble.”
