I want to briefly address a claim that we heard earlier that this bill was written by The Nature Conservancy or written with them. I am sure that that would come as a surprise to the bill's author, Chairman Westerman, but moreover, we have checked with the group, and not only did they not write it, The Nature Conservancy says they have not even endorsed this bill. I just want to clear that up for everyone. Mr. Chair, I yield 2 minutes to the gentlewoman from California (Ms. Kamlager-Dove).
