While the HIDTA office is currently funded at a baseline of 1.4 million, rather than the 2.5 million or more that the other 26 HIDTA offices are funded at, in my district in southern Nevada, which sees thousands of new people a month moving into the area and tens of millions of visitors a year, coupled with the epidemic of methamphetamine and other drug abuses, would the chairman agree that the Nevada HIDTA office funding should be increased to a level more reflective of the challenges the district faces?”
