I was unduly delayed for the vote on H. Con. Res. 5, Expressing the Support for the designation and goals of ``Hire a Veteran Week.'' Had I been able to vote, I would have voted ``yea'' on H. Con. Res. 5. The Armed Services provide invaluable experience to the men and women who serve this great nation. With this experience, veterans are an extremely valuable asset to our workforce in Southern Nevada and throughout the United States.
