We in Congress know that Californians might look at us and say, you elected officials do not really get what we have lived through.

I have focused so much time and energy on getting an amendment into the recently passed Violence Against Women Act, which the amendment would make it a federal law for revenge porn to be illegal, which seems like it should be obvious.

Do we want our children and grandchildren to continue to suffer and have worse conditions than us?

This is a catastrophe. This truly is.
