You said it is only half democracy. Well, what we have before us is zero democracy. This amendment is at least half democracy. Maybe it is not full democracy, as you say, but it is better than none. That is what this amendment is. I would caution Members on the other side, if you oppose this amendment, you are opposing majority voting for the opportunity to have in this bill a large incentive for companies to put majority voting for directors. If you vote ``no'' on this, you will be voting ``no'' on that opportunity in this bill.
