The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of the bill insert the following: TITLE VIII--MISCELLANEOUS SEC. 801. FIRE, INSECTS, AND DISEASES. Nothing in this Act may be construed to limit the authority of the Secretary of the Interior or the Secretary of Agriculture under section 4(d)(1) of the Wilderness Act (16 U.S.C. 1133(d)(1)), in accordance with existing laws (including regulations). The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 844, the gentleman from California (Mr. Panetta) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from California.
