By passing this historic legislation, we are investing in a better future for America--one focused on an equitable future, rather than restoring the past.

The reason that restoring upstream and downstream fish passage in this river is so important is that it opens up over 100 miles of pristine spawning habitat.

There are provisions in this act that are critical all over this country, but particularly for the Northwest.

Now, we have the opportunity to leverage the investments in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law through advancement of the WRDA bill.

I respectfully request that full consideration be given to this project in this year's WRDA.

Constructing a productive agricultural trade agenda is important for many reasons.

The dairy industry strongly supports Ambassador Tai's decision to bring a USMCA dispute case against Canada.

Trade is a vital part of our agriculture industry here in the United States.

The topic that is going to be discussed is trade policy and priorities, which, for American agriculture, is always a critical issue that we are engaged in.

We can't move forward without holding onto the access we won in prior WTO and FTA deals.

Clearly, when you talked about an example that you may lose some market share as a result of this supply chain crunch, there is no guarantee you are going to get that customer back, right?

I think we have to be working together in a collaborative effort to list both short-term and long-term solutions.

This is a very important and serious hearing that we are having, and it is timely.

I think that we need to look at this effort, this crisis that we are in.
