Let me suggest to my colleague that for the first 18 or so years of my time here I served in the minority. I say this is my eighth year in the House because I did not know what it was like to be in the majority. I must say that you all have learned a lot from the time when we were in the minority. Sometimes that is good. Sometimes that is bad. But the fact is, I did not realize a difference until suddenly a revolution took place here. With that revolution came new responsibility. This majority is going to pass the bill that funds the war on terrorism, no matter how long it takes.
