I do not pretend to speak with the expertise that the chairman just spoke with. But I want to speak in support of the provisions authored by the gentleman from Wisconsin [Mr. Gunderson]. My experience has been with the very large dairy industry in southern California. I know that this is the provision which best meets their needs, and I am here to indicate to you that I think that this would be best for all of the American dairy industry, although it is not a perfect bill or a perfect provision, as we all know, and I hope that we can keep those provisions in the bill and not support the Solomon amendment.
