I always feel like raising the gas tax is also inappropriate--you know, affects low-income folks, and would like to really find a way that it could be more fair on who is using our highways.

I want to point out that there is a thought process out there that asserts we would do better to give our money, our foreign aid, directly to the country and help support their agriculture and their farmers.
