The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of subtitle D of title I of division A, add the following: SEC. __. STUDY ON BURYING POWER LINES. Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall conduct a study and report the findings of such study to the appropriate committees of Congress regarding the feasibility, costs, and economic impact of burying power lines underground. Such study shall include the potential costs and benefits of burying power lines underground when building new roads. The Acting CHAIR.
