I represent the Ports of Los Angeles, and part of Long Beach, and all the oil and gas pipelines connecting the ports with refineries in the area, and pipeline safety is very, very important to me, particularly for the communities surrounding those ports, mostly underserved communities, mostly working class, poor communities.
Hahn highlights the importance of pipeline safety for underserved communities near the ports.
