And I think it will be a very sound proposal that will pass the House and move to the Senate and hopefully be passed there.

This has been a bipartisan effort now over the last two months and I'm happy to say from the speaker on down, there has been a coming together of both Democrats and Republicans to reform this system.

I do expect that we'll get a vote. In fact, it's a bipartisan measure.

In fact, there are two members of Congress, Republican and Democrat, right now, who serve, who have been subject to review or not have been subject to review, but have engaged in sexual harassment.

It's a grave concern to me and I think to many of my colleagues that this is the kind of action that could be undertaken by the president and we want to put him on notice that it is something that we will not tolerate.

We're very concerned about that. These interviews have stepped up in their pace, two or three on the same day.

I believe that the president wants all of this shut down. He wants to shut down these investigations and he wants to fire special counsel Mueller.

This is a concerted effort to undermine the Mueller investigation. Make no mistake about it.

I believe that the FBI acting director was, in fact, very forthcoming, willing to answer virtually all of our questions with the exception of a couple and I think that his testimony is very helpful to the investigation.

The American people trust that we make sure the rule of law stands the test of time.

I don't think that is right, personally.

As Members of Congress we must hold ourselves to a higher standard, a standard that demonstrates that we are worthy of the trust placed in us by the public.
