I think this hearing is so important that it should be held as a full committee hearing.

I guess my question, though, is, are you comfortable that we have enough resources being extended on intelligence in the region, particularly in Afghanistan?

I think that the ghost soldiers problem, the problem with accountability for Afghan soldiers that we are paying for is a real problem and one that, you know, we worked closely with Mr. Child, Mr. Sopko to understand.

So when will they all be distributed?

So with that knowledge, what can you tell us about what we need to do to have better intelligence?

At some point, if we don't put conditions on money coming in, the spigot always being turned on and never being turned off, then we are not going to get the kind of results we are looking for.

I have been doing some work with Dr. Omalu, who is the coroner who really exposed the issue.

It appears that, if it is seven times higher, I forget what the figure was, but I think it was something like seven times higher than the national average, we have a problem, and what we have in place isn't enough.

Recently, there was a study that shocked me and probably many of my colleagues, that the child abuse among members of our military is much higher than the national average.

The issue of chronic traumatic encephalopathy [CTE] is real.
