The administration is committed to making the tough cuts necessary to achieve these savings--including to programs we care about--but will not sacrifice the core investments we need to grow and create jobs.

But to win the future, we cannot cut in a way that will undermine our ability to out-educate, out-innovate, and out-build our economic competitors.

His story gives me hope that we can meet this challenge head on and help people with disabilities move into and beyond the middle class.

We must come together, reduce our deficit, and get back on a path that will allow us to pay down our debt.
