We have an obligation as Members of Congress wherever we go to remember that we have a podium and a microphone, and that we need to use that podium and that microphone to shine a bright light on the issues affecting our country and our communities.

There is one undeniable fact and that is discrimination is discrimination, period, regardless of how it occurs.
