The text of the amendment is as follows: Page 127, insert after line 17 the following new section (and conform the succeeding section accordingly): SEC. 1505. PAPER BALLOT PRINTING REQUIREMENTS. (a) In General.--Section 301(a) of the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (52 U.S.C. 21081(a)), as amended by section 1504, is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: ``(8) Printing requirements for ballots.--All paper ballots used in an election for Federal office shall be printed on recycled paper.''. (b) Effective Date.--The amendments made by this section shall apply with respect to elections occurring on or after January 1, 2021. Page 128, line 4, strike ``subparagraphs (B) and (C)'' and insert ``section 1505(b) of the For the People Act of 2019 and subparagraphs (B) and (C)''. The Acting CHAIR.
