we all agree that less CO2 emissions is better for our health and the health of our fellow Americans.

Unfortunately, since assuming office in 2017, the Trump administration has restricted access to sexual and reproductive health for women and girls around the world, limiting their ability to meaningfully engage in political and civic life.

I do not think the Green New Deal is the way to do it, but I do think that we have the capacity, the intellectual, technical capacity to address these issues and do it in a way that not only benefits our country but the whole world.

Once again, I reiterate the previous comments that this bill and the supporting amendments deserve the bipartisan support that we have already seen. I encourage Members across the aisle to reconsider those ideas and support the passage of…
