Mr. Speaker, we have been going through trying to get reauthorization for CALFED for a number of years and have been unable to because of the differences of opinions from many areas of needs. I think it is time that we move forward and begin to work on getting this CALFED passed, which has had a lot of give on the side that we have been working on, and for that, I thank the chairman. We look forward to making sure that we continue to work on anything else that some of my colleagues might want on another venue, and I certainly would urge all my colleagues, Democrat and Republican, to vote for this legislation.
