Daniel Lurie: “I stay laser-focused on what I can control, and that's what's happening here in San Francisco.”

I took the call, and his first question to me was, 'How's it going there?'

I'm clear-eyed about our challenges still.

There's nothing progressive as to have 806 people die of drug overdose in our city last year. Property crime is rampant. Our small businesses are struggling each and every day.

I'm going to be a candidate that prioritizes safety here in San Francisco. You can't just be for public safety during an election year.
