“I was in a community called Navajo where the lady who runs the school lunch program came forward and said, I did not know about you Republicans. I was not sure. But thank you for giving us the program so we do not always have to have Washington tell us how to do it. We can serve kids more lunches and be able to serve the kids better because you are getting the Federal Government off our backs so we can do it. She said it quite clearly. She said, what do you people in Washington or the people in Washington think, that Washington cares more about our children than we care about our own children? I think that was probably the best message we could receive.”
