My stepfather actually was a PBY pilot, decorated in World War II. But when we talk about the border issue, I grew up along the border, as you know. It is part of our culture to be binational. In fact, I was mayor when I was 27 years old with a city that was sister cities with Tijuana. And we would constantly have that intercultural communication again and again.
