Let's be clear what we are dealing with here. We are dealing with a bill that does harm, when they want to prevent harm.
So here we have a bill that is being sold as protecting everybody and there is not even a deadline to enforce one chemical.
I don't understand why you are doing this, given the tremendous opposition of the whole environmental community, the health community, the breast cancer folks, the autism folks.
I have a number of letters to put into the record in opposition to the bill we have just discussed.
I think we have seen some consensus on this panel of how we can fix this flawed bill that the chemical companies love and hurts the people.
The people who are experts in the law that are advising all of the public health groups... say that this bill is worse than current law.
