Congress created the Renewable Fuel Standard to promote a strong domestic renewable energy industry, reduce our dependence on foreign oil, and cut dangerous emissions of carbon pollution that cause climate change.
I just hope that when we make a commitment, we don't undermine it with waivers and other things.
