I think that GSA is simply setting a target that they think is achievable, given that platinum buildings in many cases require an all-out effort to use all available new technologies and practices.

When you move toward energy savings, it is going to be better for the economy, for job creation.

We want to make sure that when we spend a dollar, we get more than that over time.

If we do that, I know I speak for Senator Lautenberg and myself, we think this is a great way to not only make measurable progress on greenhouse gas emission reductions, but also to be a model.

We love this attitude of yes we can.

I think pressing on this is important because we are going to see job creation, green job creation right here.

I think that is key, because otherwise, the funds won't get there.

The point of the stimulus bill is to be a stimulus to this economy.
