We need better multidiscipline coordination between FDA, NIH, academic researchers, private drug companies, and patients.

Everyone here shares the same goal: Full approval for effective drugs.

Representative Kuster's bipartisan Protecting Seniors Through Immunization Act ensures that all Medicare Part D-covered vaccines are free to beneficiaries.

Representative Sewell's Maternal Vaccination Act helps make sure that newborns and pregnant mothers are protected from the flu and whooping cough.

The Vaccines for Children program provides free and easy access to vaccines to children in low-income families.

This is going to require legislation, and I look forward to working with my colleagues to develop that legislation.
