I will tell you one reason that I think adds to the situation of why our message has become more or less confused and foggy to some people. I am one of those freshman and I know there are several that joined us today that have been hit by big special interest groups from Washington, DC. I would just point out since April of last year, of April 1995, we just completed the contract. We are going into the budget discussion. And all of a sudden up on television in my district we had special interest ads bombarding me and bombarding me ever since then. Over $600,000 have been spent in my little old district of outside money coming in trying to confuse the message and saying that I cut Medicare $270 billion, that I cut student loans, that I have given tax credits to the rich to take care of the rich. It is an outrage. I just would say that shame on those big special interest groups who claim that they speak for the working men and women.
