Lack of mission clarity makes it much harder to make some of these decisions on what assets to keep

I actually think it would be in our interest to have that as a multi-user facility.

But the truth is for this hope and optimism to continue there are major challenges that Burma will need to overcome.

Coercion in any form is wrong and should be unacceptable, whether it is done at the population level or whether it is done at the individual level.

I believe that in order to empower women, and in order for women to be able to exercise the choices that they need to make about their lives and who they are, that the right to abortion has to be part of that narrative.

It is an imperative that every girl and every woman on this planet is empowered that same way.

I look at this issue as a doctor. But also the focus of this hearing is India, and I look at the issue as an Indian American, but the most important title I hold today is being the father of a daughter.

My constituents and I still need to be convinced not that atrocities have occurred...but we need to know exactly what our goals are and our objectives.

I applaud the President for including Congress in this debate.

Almost unanimously, people don't want us to strike Syria. They are fatigued.

This is an epidemic that has to stop and again, it goes to our basic values as just human beings.
