I would agree and that is not to be construed that we don't continue talking. But let us talk and negotiate from a place of strength.

Because if we are negotiating with a regime that sees us in retreat, from my perspective I don't think that is the best position to negotiate from, I think.

Clearly, the sanctions have been effective in bringing them to the table.

Now is the time for us to actually continue to exert influence.

Obviously, the grave situation of the nearly 300 girls, that were kidnapped near Chibok is something that continues to distress many of us.

This is an incredibly important conversation for us to have as we start to review our current positions but then also look at future policies on U.S. energy security and LNG exports.

I think I could speak for all of us on this body and in this committee that we stand with our allies in sending a strong message that this type of behavior by China is unacceptable.

We are seeing other forms of propaganda or hate.

I find the anti-Semitic fliers that were distributed incredibly reprehensible and very worrisome, given the history.

It is actions like that that I find worrisome.

A strong India and a strong ally in India helps stabilize the region and then also creates opportunities.

India remains a strategic partner and geopolitical partner for Washington.
