Thank you Chairman Roe and Ranking Member Walz for the opportunity to appear before this committee to discuss the Veterans Choice Program.

That is why we must not abandon our effort to provide choice and flexibility in veterans' health care.

My dear friends, the world is in turmoil, and I believe that we will be sending our young men and women into harm's way.

I applaud Dr. Roe and his folks for making this happen.

We have a long way to go to change the status quo plaguing the VA.

I think that the president of the United States should provide any evidence that he might have that would corroborate a charge of this seriousness.

I think we ought to know what the president's statement is as to what evidence he has that would lead to his conclusion that his predecessor violated the law.

If you destroy the election system of a democracy, if you destroy it, then you have basically dealt an incredible blow to that country which is probably far more severe than shutting down an electrical grid.

We should start with a policy.

The appearance of weakness has emboldened our adversaries, who believe they can attack the United States in cyberspace with impunity.

It seems to me that there seem to be four different islands here.

If an enemy or an adversary is capable of changing the outcome of an election, that's a blow at the fundamentals of that country's ability to govern, right?
