My sense of this would be it would be beneficial to all of you to avoid a Superfund site because of what it is going to do, in terms of people viewing your tourist sites, property values, and things of that nature.

It's bad enough when EPA's picking winners and losers in power but then you even get into the renewables.

I would hate for investors to come in and see this huge increase in electrical rates and decide to move their manufacturing somewhere else.

The higher rates will put a disproportional burden on low- and fixed-income residents in my district.

The obvious negative effects are direct loss of several hundred highways jobs and an economic loss of $500 to $600 million per year.
