I have long advocated here the need for comprehensive cost-benefit analysis for all agency rulemakings, not just the SEC.

Is the bottom line we cannot be accountable to the American people with a defense that is second to none on the cheap, we have to pay for it, do we not, Mr. Secretary?

What about the cyber challenge? That is something we have to get our hands on. If we do not, we will pay dearly, will we not?

General, what are we going to have to do to keep all of our troops combat ready? You need flexibility. You mentioned this earlier, but you also need resources, do you not?

Sustained Federal funding for STEM is critical, especially in the face of fierce competition from countries that seek to overtake our position in achievement and innovation.

I believe that STEM education is and will continue to be vital for students as our Nation moves forward in developing our 21st century economy.
