I believe this bill would make that more difficult.

I think for the first time ever, this legislation would create a Federal recognition of same-sex marriage which is not the current law.

I think the clarity of the preference, the benefit--the clarity of the benefit provided to a traditional marriage relationship provides some help in keeping integrity in the system and its being abused.

I would note, I think in almost every one of those countries they have far more controls than this legislation would propose.
