I would like to also have in the Record that the Alaska Federation of Natives, which is the federation of all the Natives in the State of Alaska, has passed a resolution in support of the opening of ANWR and urging the Congress 'to adopt legislation to open the Coastal Plain area of ANWR to an environmentally responsible program of oil and gas leasing and development.'
