energy should not be a partisan issue. For over 3 months, our Committee on Energy and Natural Resources has been effectively dissolved. The committee was closed while this document was put together behind closed doors, with no input from the minority. The Democratic leader has selected his deputies and their special interests, whatever agreements were arrived at in deference to the Senate and the committee rules, blatantly bypassing the committee of jurisdiction.
