Lisa Murkowski: “We are in a unique position, as you know, in Alaska providing the only location supporting both short- and long-range…”

This is an individual that is not only qualified for this position, he is ready to hit the ground running as a U.S. District Court judge.

Where there’s opportunities to put certain guardrails in our spending bills — there are tools, there are mechanisms — we have to be diligent to it.

I join Alaskans in offering condolences as we learn of the plane crash in Cape Newenham.

His extensive experience, professionalism, and judicial temperament make him exceptionally well-qualified for this role.
