Today, more than 40 U.S. senators, Democrats -- excuse me, 43 Democrats and two -- excuse me, 43 Democrats and three Republicans, Lisa Murkowski, Bill Cassidy and Jim Inhofe for the Republicans. These 40-plus senators wrote today to the secretary of state and secretary of homeland security in our government, asking them to create a new category for humanitarian parole, for people who would qualify to be evacuated from Afghanistan that way.
