Lisa Murkowski: “I would certainly hope that individual has been recognized for his persistence, standing up for the Constitution.”

I join Alaskans in offering condolences as we learn of the plane crash in Cape Newenham.

Alaska is a cornerstone of American defense; investments like this from the Coast Guard are critical as we work to improve infrastructure on bases across the state to maintain our national security.

This is an individual that is not only qualified for this position, he is ready to hit the ground running as a U.S. District Court judge.

Alaska is praying for those on board, their loved ones, and the team at Security Aviation.
